thing 16 to 23

This last journey through Wikis, Zoho and podicasts I found terribly frustrating, podicasts wouldn't open, Zoho I couldn't open, adding exciting images and places to my blog became confusing, my patience and persistance wore out but I did finish with listening to 'Briar Rose' from Audio ebook library collection which was most pleasant. The venture through Library 2.0 has opened eyes and windows of what is just some of the available tools that will become as familar as a pen and paper in the future.

Past, Present and the Future. 15 On Library 2.0 and Web 2.0

This little exercise summed up Learning 2.0 nicely and it all made sense. Libraries are heading at high speed towards being more than just a collection of print material, up to date information is readily available on the Web but I do disagree that we are living in digital lifestyles that drive everything people do. It may be that my boat just hit an iceberg and it's time to bale out!!!! What happens in a Black Out!! candles won't help.

Week 13

Tagging, Folksonomies and Social bookmarking. I'm learning there is alot out there in the computer world that I will never discover and probably never require the patience to shift through, but I can see that information and visual effects are all just sitting there waiting to be harnessed if I decide to join the race.
